Job Description
As the official voice of over 18,000 full time students, HSF continually offers a wide range of services and programs to Humber students. The HSF is looking for as an aspiring professional to join our Communication team, reporting directly to the Communications Director in the capacity of: Junior Graphic Designer

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The incumbent will design the communication devices for the Humber Students’ Federation, under the creative direction of the Communications Director
• Develop a wide variety of projects from creative concept through to completion. These projects include but are not limited to, creating brochures, posters, direct marketing pieces and web related graphics.
• Prepare files for production while maintaining clean file management and backups.
• Working with the Communications Director, in conjunction with the printing companies to coordinate jobs for production in a timely manner.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Minimum 1-year design experience. Must familiar with current print and web design programs (Quark 6, Illustrator 11, Photoshop 8.0, Flash 6)
• Must possess strong production and organizational skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, corporate environment
• Team player
• Punctual
