Senior Public Relations Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The incumbent will provide Public Relations & Marketing support for all Humber Students’ Federation initiatives, which include helping to elevate awareness of corporate activities, event promotion, and programs offered to students
• Support with promotion/advertising campaigns
• Assisting with soliciting sponsorship opportunities to companies within the community
• Assisting with Kick Start and the summer orientation
• The incumbent will be required to travel to businesses where needed to solicit sponsorship opportunities

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related/equivalent skills minimum 1 year experience.
Must possess strong writing skills; strong organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills; and presentation skills. Team player. Punctual.
