Title: Board of Directors Chairperson
Position Type: Part-time
Location: North Campus and Lakeshore Campus

Job Summary

As an employee of the Humber Students' Federation you will report to the HSF office.


Job Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Chairperson is responsible for facilitating Board of Directors meeting, every three weeks and as emergency meetings are held. This NON-VOTING position will apply Robert's Rules of Order to ensure quality discussions and to record motions in front of the Board.

Job Requirements

The incumbent must be flexible and accessible for all Board Meetings. The Chairperson must be observant and informed of the HSF policy, procedures and the Constitution, although no previous HSF experience is required. Knowledge of Robert's Rules of Order is an asset. The incumbent must be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Keen sense of patience is also an asset.
