Title: Lead Events Assistant
Position Type: Part time
Location: North Campus
Number of Positions: 3 at North, 1 at Lakeshore
Job Summary
The HSF Lead Events Assistant is responsible for the operation of the Events office and responsible for the staffing, scheduling and set up for HSF Events and programs. The HSF Lead Events Assistant is responsible to organize sufficient staffing for all events by managing the schedules of all Events Assistants. The position is also the key contact for all volunteer inquires and will lead the volunteer program.
Job Responsibilities
- Schedule appropriate number of employees for all events, programs and activities
- Lead the implementation of volunteer program, including; recruiting, planning meetings and volunteer recognition
- Responsible for management of office, including filing, answering student concerns, answering phones and other office duties
- Work with other sections of the school including Residence, CAPS, International Students and Athletics to help promote events and increase student involvement
- To assist HSF clubs in room bookings and provide general information
- Act as a project leader during Orientation and Frosh Week
The HSF Events Assistant will receive direction from the Programming Director and will work in conjunction with the Programs Director/Coordinator and the Vice President of Campus Life.
