Volunteering on campus is a great opportunity to expand your skill set and social circle, and take part in campus life all at once. College and university are about much more than just academics. By volunteering with the Humber Students’ Federation (HSF), you’ll have a chance to take a break from your studies, meet new people outside your program, strengthen the Humber community and have fun! If that isn’t enough, our focus on charity and green initiatives will give you the warm and fuzzy feeling that comes with helping others and our planet, not to mention earning great rewards and incentive along the way!

Join the HSF Volunteer Crew today, and help make a difference.

Green Focus
“Earth Day Every Day”

The Green Team would suit any student who is interested in helping promote environmental sustainability as well as preserving the environment for the next generation. The purpose of the Green Team is to get Humber students involved in environmental initiatives on both a school and city-wide level.

The Green Team has the power to choose which projects they want to take on, including:

•Campus clean-up day
•Sale of OneBottles
•10,000 Acts of Green
•Fundraising for environmental charities

Charity Focus
“Walk a Mile in their Shoes”

The Charity Team would suit any student who does not want to stand by and watch things such as poverty, hunger and abuse happen. The purpose of the Charity Team is to get Humber students involved in initiatives which relate to social justice issues both on campus and in the community.

Although the Charity Team is able to make decisions on the various projects they want to be involved with, some possibilities include:

•Fundraising
•Assembly of Food Program packages
•Various charity-based initiatives
•Light the Night Walk hosted by
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada
