1. To promote and advance the interests of all Members currently enrolled at Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and University of Guelph-Humber;
2. To foster the intellectual and moral growth of all Members enrolled at Humber at both the North Campus and the Lakeshore Campus and University of Guelph-Humber;
3. To safeguard the rights of the Members enrolled at the Institution;
4. To provide an environment at which the Members enrolled at Humber and Guelph-Humber can pursue academic excellence as well as personal and social growth, free from all forms of discrimination and harassment;
5. To strengthen democratic principles at all levels of government including, but not limited to, student, administrative and academic bodies of the Institution;
6. To enhance participation by the Members enrolled at Humber and Guelph-Humber in all aspects of government in the Humber and Guelph-Humber community; and
7. To promote and advance the Code of Ethics of Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and University of Guelph-Humber.
